Pastor Alton Trimble and First Lady Judith D. Trimble, purposed and called by God to a union of serving others, founded Glory Christian Fellowship International (GCFI) in 1992. Their God-given vision of winning the lost, discipling the found, and sending the disciple remains foundational to GCFI today. Pastor Alton Trimble and First Lady Judith D. Trimble have been serving in ministry for over 40 years. During this time, they have seen the transformational power of God's love and grace in the lives of countless individuals through their faithful service. Their commitment to being servant leaders has allowed GCFI to grow into a thriving international ministry with multiple locations and a diverse congregation. Through their servant leadership approach to ministry, GCFI has been able to impact not just the local community but also the world through various outreach programs, mission trips, and partnerships with other ministries. Their heart for serving others has also led them to establish a non-profit organization called, Bridges Community Economic Development Corporation (Bridges CEDC), dedicated to meeting the needs of the underserved.
Pastor Alton Trimble’s call to ministry encompasses roles as the co-founder and instructor at the Zoe Christian Fellowship Leadership Training Center for fifteen years, and appointment as Assistant Pastor of Zoe Christian Fellowship in 1984, where he served for nine years. As the Pastor of GCFI, he devotes his time to church growth and people development, mentoring generations of leaders, from the spiritual and secular worlds. He leads the Men's Living Connected Ministry at GCFI. Pastor Alton Trimble's passion for leadership and community development extends beyond the walls of the church.
In addition to being the Pastor of GCFI, he is currently serving as the Chairman and CEO of Bridges CEDC. Through Bridges CEDC, he leads a team of leaders whose experience and expertise position them to provide practical social, educational, medical, and economic-related resources and solutions to meet the needs of those in local, national and global underserved communities. Pastor Alton Trimble's passion for leadership is evident in everything he does. He firmly believes that strong leaders are paramount to the building of healthy communities and creating positive change in the world. Through his teachings and mentorship, he equips individuals with the necessary skills and mindsight to become effective leaders in their own communities.
Pastor Trimble leads by example as he encourages others to pursue academic excellence. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from California State University of Los Angeles, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies, and a Master of Divinity from Azusa Pacific University. He has also completed doctoral-level courses at Azusa Pacific University. Pastor Trimble's academic achievements serve as a testament to his dedication and commitment to higher education. Furthermore, he views the pursuit of education as one of the catalysts to leveling the playing field in access to salient resources and upward mobility. His academic achievements and rich work experience provided him with a strong foundation in understanding individuals and communities, which has proven invaluable in his role as a pastor.
Pastor Trimble's passion for education extends beyond his own academic pursuits. He actively encourages and supports members of his congregation to pursue higher education, providing them with resources and guidance along the way. Moreover, as a pastor, he understands the importance of incorporating faith into one's education. He believes that knowledge without faith lacks purpose and direction. Therefore, he strives to create an environment where both faith and education are valued and nurtured.
First Lady Judith D. Trimble, co-founder of GCFI and Bridges CEDC, is a trailblazer in pursuing educational equity. She is a graduate of the University of Miami and has completed graduate-level courses at California State University, Los Angeles, and the University of California, Los Angeles. Before entering full-time ministry, she served as a Los Angeles Unified School District educator for over 26 years. Throughout her career, First Lady Judith D. Trimble has been dedicated to improving education for all students, regardless of their background or circumstances. She has a deep understanding of the challenges that many students face and is committed to finding solutions that will help them succeed.
As co-founder of both GCFI and Bridges CEDC, First Lady Trimble has been integral in developing programs and initiatives that focus on spiritual growth, academic achievement, mentorship, and leadership development. These organizations have made a significant impact on the lives of countless students, providing them with the support and resources they need to reach their full potential. In addition to her work in education, First Lady Trimble is also passionate about serving her community. She has led numerous outreach initiatives through GCFI and Bridges CEDC, providing assistance to families in need and promoting community development. Over the years, she has led the Church’s international Missions efforts and served as the Executive Director of Bridges. Her dedication to helping others has made a positive impact on the lives of many individuals and families.
First Lady Trimble is the leader of the Women’s Living Connected Ministry. Over the years, she has conducted Christ-centered retreats, seminars, and conferences throughout the United States. Notably, she is the founder of GCFI’s Christian Education Ministry (CEM) for Children and youth ages 0 to 18 and served as Superintendent for many years. First Lady Trimble has a heart for ministry and serving others, in particular, women. She is the leader of the Women’s Living Connected Ministry, dedicating her life to spreading the love of Christ and helping women grow in their faith. Her passion and gift for leading women's retreats, seminars, and conferences has inspired many women to deepen their relationship with God.
As the founder of GCFI’s Christian Education Ministry (CEM), First Lady Trimble has worked to create engaging and impactful programs for children and youth. Through CEM, she has helped young people develop a strong foundation in their faith and learn important Christian values that will guide them throughout their lives. Through her leadership and ministry, First Lady Trimble has touched the lives of countless individuals and families. Her commitment to spreading the love of Christ and making a positive impact in the world has inspired many to follow in her footsteps. As she continues to serve and lead, she remains a shining example of faith and compassion for all those around her.
Pastor and First Lady Trimble are passionate about helping people connect with God, each other, and with community through sharing their faith and acts of service. They daily emulate GCFI’s core values of love, mercy and grace, diligence, commitment, and superior service. Equally important to them is the time spent with their children, grandchildren, and extended family.
