Pastor Alton Trimble and his wife, Judith D. Trimble, founded Glory Christian Fellowship International (GCFI) in 1992. Their God-given vision of winning the lost, discipling the found and sending the disciple remains foundation to GCFI to date.
Responding to the leading of the Holy Spirit, he accepted the call of God to the ministry over 35 years ago. Pastor Trimble co-founded, and instructed at the Zoe Christian Fellowship Leadership Training Center for fifteen years and in 1984 was appointed Assistant Pastor of Zoe Christian Fellowship, where he served for nine years. In addition to being the Pastor of GCFI, he is currently serving as the Chairman and CEO of Bridges Community Economic Development Corporation (“Bridges”), an affiliated non-profit community service organization. Pastor Trimble received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from California State University of Los Angeles; Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies and a Masters of Divinity both from Azusa Pacific University and has completed doctorial work at Azusa Pacific University.
Judith Trimble is a graduate of the University of Miami and has completed graduate work at California State University, Los Angeles and University of California, Los Angeles. Before entering full time ministry, Mrs. Trimble served as a Los Angeles Unified School District educator for over 26 years. She has conducted Christ-centered retreats, seminars, and conferences throughout the United States. Sister Trimble is the Founder of GCFI’s Christian Education Ministry for Children and youth ages 0 to 18 and served as Superintendent for many years. She has lead the Church’s international Missions efforts, and also served as the Executive Director of Bridges.
Pastor and Sister Trimble have a passion for helping people to connect with God, each other and with community through sharing their faith and acts of service. GCFI’s core values are love, mercy and grace, diligence, commitment and superior service.
